Bilt Rewards is launching a series of promotions for Rent Day on March 1st, offering members significant opportunities to boost their points and unlock exclusive benefits. This month’s offers include tiered Japan Airlines Mileage Bank transfer bonuses, double points on non-rent purchases, and a chance to win free rent through the “Rent Free” game.
Status-Based Transfer Bonuses
Bilt members can now transfer points to Japan Airlines Mileage Bank with an increased bonus, tiered by Bilt Rewards status:
- Blue: 25% bonus
- Silver: 50% bonus
- Gold: 75% bonus
- Platinum: 100% bonus
For Platinum members, redeeming $135 in Bilt Cash unlocks an even higher 125% transfer bonus. This can be particularly valuable if transferring a large number of points, as the bonus can offset the cost of the redeemed Bilt Cash.
Note: Japan Airlines Mileage Bank accounts less than 60 days old may experience a seven-day hold before miles can be redeemed.
Double Points on Non-Rent Purchases
From midnight EST on March 1st to 2:59 a.m. EST on March 2nd, Bilt cardholders can earn double points on all non-rent purchases. The bonus applies as follows:
- Bilt Blue: 2 points per dollar (up to 1,000 bonus points)
- Bilt Obsidian: 6 points per dollar (dining/groceries) / 4 points per dollar (travel) / 2 points per dollar (other) – up to 1,000 bonus points
- Bilt Palladium: 4 points per dollar (up to 1,000 bonus points)
The “Rent Free” Game
Bilt will once again host the “Rent Free” game show, featuring chef Thomas Keller this month. Participants can play in the Bilt app between noon EST on Feb. 25th and 3 p.m. EST on March 1st. The top ten winners will have their rent paid (up to $2,500), while additional prizes include Bilt points and products from Keller’s collection.
Exclusive Neighborhood Experiences
Bilt Rent Day also includes a range of local experiences, including:
- Comedy Shows: Available at 17 venues across 12 cities, with tickets ranging from $30 to $75 or 2,000 to 5,000 Bilt points.
- Dining Experiences: At 36 restaurants in nine cities, offering tasting menus or omakase for $30 to $75 per person.

- Bilt Neighborhood Cafe: Free K+M Chocolate milk coffee and sea salt chocolate at the New York City location on March 1st.
These experiences require reservations, with early access for higher-tier Bilt members.
